Dr. Jeffrey Pancer is a graduate of the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry.
Dr. Pancer has been a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM) since 1995 and served as the organization's President from 2008 to 2010. He served on the AADSM Board of Directors from 1998 to 2004 and is a diplomat of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. He is the editor of "Dialogue" the quarterly bulletin of the AADSM.
Dr. Pancer has a wide knowledge of oral appliances for SDB patients which enables him to provide sound, up to date and effective information and treatment for both patients and professionals.
Dr. Pancer is the developer of an oral appliance for snoring and apnea called the "Sleep Saver". He is an apnea sufferer himself as well as a general dentistry practitioner. He has been treating sleep disordered breathing patients since 1994.
Dr. Pancer took a comprehensive course on sleep disorders at Harvard Medical School in November 1996. This course covered all phases of the most recent thinking on sleep disorders given by the most prominent names in the field, including White, Czeisler, Dement, Dinges, Carskadon, Ancoli-Israel, Hauri, Pack, Mohowald, Roth and many others.
He and his wife Lynnda have 2 children Lowell and Natalie, both of whom are married. They have 2 grandchildren, Lowell's daughter Eve and Natalie's son, Rubin.
